今日の停電は長かった。The power outage today was long.

　牛は朝露で光っている草を食べていました。

The cows were eating grass that was glistening with morning dew.

　この漁村には屋台の魚屋さん・八百屋さんが沢山あります。

今日はきびなごを売っているこの魚屋さんが混んでいました。

 This fishing village has many fish stalls and greengrocers.

Today, this fish stall selling silver-striped round herring was bustling.

　ネコさんたちは飼い主からきびなごを床に投げてもらってご機嫌です。

 The cats are in a good mood because their owners throw silver-stripe round herring onto the floor.

　部屋に戻ると停電していました。

水道は加圧式です、電気温水器も電気が無いと使えません。

 When I returned to the room, there was a power outage.

The water supply is pressurized, and the electric water heater cannot be used without electricity.

　コーヒー豆を久しぶりに手で挽きました。

It's been a while since I ground coffee beans by hand.

　シャワーを浴びてヘヤーカットに行きたいんですが復電しません。

仕方がないので書き取りを始めました。

２Bの芯は滑らかで書きやすいですね。

 I want to shower and get a haircut, but the power hasn't come back on.

I have no choice but to start writing.
