焚火で汗をかいた。 I sweated by the bonfire.

 　ごみをゴミ捨て場で燃やした。

顔は焚火の輻射で熱い。

背中は強い紫外線で熱い。

道路に出ると小雨が降り出した。

変な天気だ。

午後１時の気温は２９度です。

I burned trash at the dump.

My face is hot from the radiation from the bonfire.

My back is hot from the strong ultraviolet rays.

When I step out onto the road, a light rain starts to fall.

What strange weather.

The temperature at 1pm is 29°C.

ドライシーズンの日差しです。 It's the sunshine of the dry season.

　陸から熱い風が海に向かって吹いています。

日向に出ると太陽の光線が強いので頬がピリ々
します。

暇つぶし。 Killing time.

　ダイソーに買い物に行ってきました。

目当ての物はありませんでした。

いろいろ買いましたが　サロンパス大判　ボディブラシ　網戸補修シール　が今日の三役です。

　早速シャワールームの網戸の傷に補修シールを貼りました。

補修箇所がモノクロで見にくいので緑の線を引きました。

シャワーを浴びている時にたまに蚊が入ってきます。

刺される心配はありませんがいい気持ちはしません。

網戸の傷は悩みでも心配事というほど大げさではありませんがなくなるとホッとします。

　日本にいるときにはダイソーに行ったことはありませんでした。

あれこれ見て歩くと時間が潰せます。

サイズの合わない小物が少し貯まりました。

 I went shopping at Daiso.

I did not find what I was looking for.

I bought various things today, but the Salonpas large-size body brush and the mesh screen repair sticker were the three most important.

 I put the repair stickers on the scratches on the screen door of the shower room.

I drew a green line because seeing the repaired part in black and white was hard.

Mosquitoes sometimes come in when I am taking a shower.

I don't worry about being bitten, but I don't feel good about it.

The scratches on the screen door are not so exaggerated as to be a concern, but I feel relieved when they are gone.

 When I was in Japan, I never went to Daiso.

I can kill a lot of time by walking around looking at this and that.

I put the small items that didn't fit in the drawer.

さっきまで晴れていたのに。 It was sunny just a moment ago.

　風が北東から南西に変わりました。

晴れていた空が急に曇り始めました。

１１時の気温は２８度です。

滑る 滑る。It's slippery, it's slippery.

　３時のお茶を飲んだ後　このプラスチックのお盆は滑って危ないな　と思いながら小鉢とマグカップを押さえて運んだ。

少し傾けるとお盆の上の食器が動く。

食器を割りたくないので木製のお盆に変えた。

食器を洗いながら　木目があると塗装したお盆でも滑らないんだよなあ　と思った。

　一人で食事をする時には陶磁器の食器を使っている。

今はしないが前に飲み会を開いた時には全てプラスチック製の食器を使ってもらった。

壊されても気にならないし、壊した方も気にかけなくて済む。

長い間使って愛着のある陶磁器を失うのは嫌だしこの地では補充がきかない。

 After my three o'clock tea, I carried the small bowls and mugs while holding them down, thinking that this plastic tray was slippery and dangerous.

If I tilted the tray slightly, the dishes on it moved.

I didn't want to break the dishes so I changed to a wooden tray.

While washing the dishes, I realized the wood grain made even a painted tray less slippery.

 When I eat alone I use ceramic dishes.

The last time I had a drinking party, I asked them to use all plastic dishes.

I don't mind if they break them, and the person who breaks them doesn't have to worry either.

I hate losing ceramic dishes that I've used for a long time and am attached to, and they can't be replaced here.

サングラスがいるな。 I need my sunglasses.
