近所の人たちは干潟で貝を拾っています。

　ハードウエアの店で”シャワーの給湯器が壊れました”どれが一番いいですかと聞きました。

"シャワーを浴びたいので今日買ったものを取り付けてもらえますか"と聞くと"今日の午後私が取り付けます"というありがたいお話でした。

彼に勧められたものを買いました。

彼は熟練した電気技師でした。

　日本製の給湯器は３年で駄目になりました。

冷蔵庫３台のうちの２台は日本製です、冷えがよくありません、異音を出します。

他の１台はよく冷えて静かです。

　こちらの家電売り場から日本製は姿を消しました。

円の価値と家電の品質は連動しているようです。

 Water leaked from my shower water heater, and I could no longer adjust the temperature.

Two of our three refrigerators are Japanese-made, and they don't cool well and make strange noises.
The other one cools well and is quiet.

　あさ散歩に行きそびれたので午後に近所を散歩しました。

午後は朝と違って車の通行量が多いので散歩には不向きです。

奥さんはフィリピーのですか？

等々の質問を受けました。

”日本人はお辞儀をするからすぐわかるよ”と言っていました。

自分で意識せずにお辞儀をしているんですね。

　音楽を流している店によってコーヒーを頼みました。

お湯を注ぐコーヒーカップの内側を見てきれいなコーヒーカップを選んでくれました。

蒸したおにぎりのようなものをすすめられましたが丁寧に断りました。

　私は肝炎の抗体を持っていないので食べ物には気を付けています。

暑い日は屋台のアイスクリームがおいしそうに見えますが我慢しています。

　夜に漁をした漁師さんはヘッドライトを付けたままお店を手伝っていました。

　ネコさんたちは屋台の魚屋さんが餌をくれるのをじっと待っています。

　港の近くにできた雑貨兼食料品店です。

　散歩の途中で小さなバナナ園を見つけました。

道路に面している区画が狭く奥に長いバナナ園です。

緑のバナナがたわわに実っている房がいくつもありました。

もうすこし房が黄色く色づいてから出荷するんでしょうね。

背の低いバナナの木が幾本も草の刈られた場所に生えていました。

The banana garden had a narrow section facing the road and stretched long in the back.

There were several bunches of green bananas in full ripeness.

They will be shipped after the bunches turn yellow.
