　スマホを買い替えたときにWIFIが使えないときのためにモバイルネットワークの設定を頼みました。

モバイルデータを１５GB買いました。

簡単だから自分で設定してね　と言われました。

モバイルネットワークの設定が出来ないのでスマホを買った店に持ってゆくと　設定が出来ている　と言われました。

　インターネット接続が出来なくなったのでプロバイダーに行って修理を依頼しました。

離れた席に電話のカウンターがあったのでモバイルネットワークの接続を頼みました。

彼の指示通りにスマホを操作してモバイルネットワークの接続が出来るようになりました。

簡単に接続できたので驚きました。

依然としてスマホは私にとって鬼門です。

御礼を言うと　何かあったら来てください　と丁寧に受け答えしてくれました。

 When I bought a new smartphone, I asked for setting up the mobile network in case I couldn't use Wi-Fi.
I bought 15GB of mobile data.
The store clerk told me it was easy and that I could set it up myself.
I couldn't set up the mobile network, so I took it back to the store where I bought the smartphone, and they told me it was already set up.

 My internet connection stopped working, so I went to my internet provider and requested a repair.
There was a phone counter at a separate table, so I told him in charge to connect the mobile network.
I followed his instructions and was able to connect to the mobile network.
I was surprised how easy it was to connect.
Smartphones are still an Achilles ' heel for me.
When I thanked him, he politely told me to come back if I had any problems.

　きのうの夕方インターネットが復旧しました。

プロバイダーの技術者が回線をたどって切断した個所を探して線をつないでくれました。

WIFIのルーターも新しいものに交換してくれました。

ありがたい事です。

　ずーっと疑問に思っていることがあります。

インターネットの接続速度が測定するサイトによって数値がバラバラな事です。

５分ぐらいの間隔で測定しているので近似値を探しています。

各サイトの数値は近似値に程遠い数値です。

 My internet connection was restored yesterday at five o'clock pm.
A technician from my internet provider traced the line, found the disconnected section, and reconnected it.
They also replaced my Wi-Fi router with a new one.
I'm very grateful.

 There's something I've been wondering about for a long time.
The internet connection speed readings vary greatly depending on the website I use to measure it.
I measure it every five minutes or so, trying to find an approximate value.
The readings from each site are far from an approximate value.

　前に買った時は品数も少なく買う商品を決めるのは簡単でした。

今は商品の品揃えが多いのでどれを買ったらいいのか迷いました。

　１５年使ってきたアンドロイドのセルフォンを買い替えました。

同じAシリーズにしたので操作に違和感はありません。

アンドロイドの１６のバージョンが欲しかったんです。

　今使っているアンドロイドセルフォンはバッテリーを交換しているので普段使うのに機能的な問題はありません。

新しいセルフォンに問題が起きたときのために保管しました。

　普段はWindous11でChromeのブラウザーを使っています。

旅行や外出時にChromeのノートパソコンとアンドロイドタブレットをつかいます。

Googleのドライブとフォトをメモ代わりに使っているのでアンドロイドのスマホならPCと情報を共有できます。

違うOSのセルフォンでは情報の共有はできません。

When I travel or go out, I use a Chrome laptop and an Android tablet.

I use Google Drive and Photos for notes, so with an Android phone, I can share information with my PC.

Information cannot be shared with cell phones that use a different OS.

タブレットのOSは２０２１年以降更新されていません。

仕方がないので工場出荷時に戻してから再起動するとOSが更新されました。

面倒くさいタブレットです。

　このタブレットはChromrbookに比べると軽いので持ち運びに便利です。

セキュリティーが緩いのでChromrbookが接続を拒否する病院や空港のWIFIに接続できます。

診察や検査をする時の翻訳に画面が大きく見やすく便利です。

医師や検査技師と意思の疎通が円滑になりました。

この国では英国式の英語よりもアメリカンイングリシュで変換すると話は円滑に進みます。

　この国はスペインの植民地後アメリカに５０年弱占拠されていました。

凄い巻き舌のスペイン語を話す年寄りもいます。

 The battery replacement for my tablet PC is complete.
I reset the battery charge to a maximum of 80%.

 This tablet is lighter than the Chromebook, making it easier to carry around.
It can connect to hospital and airport Wi-Fi, which has looser security and would otherwise refuse a Chromebook connection.
The large, easy-to-read screen is convenient for translating during consultations and tests.
I've been able to communicate better with doctors and technicians.
In this country, conversations go more smoothly if you use American English rather than British English.

 After Spain colonized it, the country was occupied by the United States for nearly 50 years.
Some older people speak Spanish with a strong rolling accent.

バッテリーの持続時間がすごい。The battery life is amazing.

　いろいろ問題のあるChrome book ですが特筆できるのはバッテリーの持続時間です。

病院で診察を受けるときに電池切れがないので安心して使えます。

待ち時間はゲームで時間をつぶせます。

大きなバッテリーを抱えているんでしょうね。

Chrome bookは見た目より重量があります。

　delキーがない・文字の再変換に問題がある・Chrome bookが認めたアプリしかインストールできない・使いやすいアプリが少ない等など問題はありますが使う側の選択で大きく評価のわかれるPCです。

　Win11で出来ることとChromebookで出来ることを分けて考える必要があります。

Chromebookはネット環境の良いところなら屋外・屋内を問わずに軽快に作動します。

win11の文書をChromebookの365で処理する裏技を覚えました。

これは便利です。

 Chromebooks have many issues, but one thing worth mentioning is their good battery life.
I can use them for medical examinations at the hospital without worrying about the battery running out.
I can kill time by playing games while I'm waiting.
It has a big battery.
It's heavier than it looks.

 Although it has some issues, such as the lack of a delete key, problems with character reconversion, the ability to install only Chromebook-approved apps, and a lack of easy-to-use apps, it is a PC whose evaluation will vary greatly depending on the user.

 You need to think separately about what you can do with Windows 11 and with a Chromebook.
Chromebooks work smoothly both indoors and outdoors, as long as you have a good internet connection.
I learned a trick for processing Windows 11 documents on a Chromebook 365.
This is useful.

　心臓の先生がスマホの翻訳を使って丁寧な説明をしてくれました。

その説明はありがたく私の心に沁み入りました。

それを真似てChromebookを英訳と和訳を２つのタブに分けて表示できるようにしました。

心臓の検査技師・担当医・心臓の担当ともう少し複雑な話ができそうです。

 My cardiologist gave me a detailed explanation using the translation function on her smartphone.
I was grateful for her explanation, and it really touched my heart.
I followed her example and set up translation on my Chromebook.
I set it up so that the English and Japanese translations can be displayed in two separate tabs.
Using this, I'll be able to have more complex conversations with my cardiac technologist, my doctor, and the cardiologist in charge.

日本で契約したドコモのスマーフォンを海外で持っている方にお知らせします。This is a message for those of you overseas who have a Docomo smartphone signed up in Japan.

　日本で契約したドコモのスマーフォンを海外で持っている方にお知らせします。

私はドコモと通話した分の料金を支払う契約をしています。

クレジット会社からのドコモの携帯電話の請求料金が１００倍になっていたのでドコモに問い合わせをしました。

この国では使えないアプリなどの問題があり最終的に電話で話しました。

電話で私を対応してくれた方はとても親切でした。

事情を話すと　スマホのデータローミング　がオンになっていると通話の有無にかかわらず使用料が発生することを教えてくれました。

スマホの設定から→接続→モバイルネットワーク→データローミングがONになっていたのでOFFにしました。

OSやデバイスのアップデートで電子機器の設定が変わる事象は何回も経験しています。

定期的なチェックが必要ですね。

 This is a message for those of you overseas who have a Docomo smartphone signed up in Japan. 

My contract with Docomo only covers calling charges. 

 I contacted Docomo because my Docomo mobile phone bill from my credit card company had increased 100 times. 

I had issues with apps that didn't work in this country, so I spoke with them by phone. 

The person who spoke to me over the phone was very kind. 

When I explained the situation, they said that if my smartphone's data roaming is on, charges will be incurred whether I make a call or not. 

I went to Settings > Connections > Mobile Network > Data Roaming and confirmed it was enabled, so I turned it off. I've experienced many instances of electronic device settings changing due to OS or device updates. 

Regular checks are essential.

　アンドロイドのスマホやアンドロイドのタブレットはポップアップ広告や貼り付け広告が多くて苦手です。

そのうえ、不要なアプリのインストールを要求してくるので精神衛生によろしくありません。

スマホは通信手段にしています。

タブレットは軽くがさばらないので旅先でブログの作成やメールのやり取りをします。

　アンドロイドのタブレットのブラウザーにファイヤーフォックス・Firefoxをインストールしました。

画面操作中に広告がでてこないので使用感は快適です。

ブックマークはクロム・Chromeからインポートしました。

どのブラウザーもメインに設定しろと要求してきますが　あとで　でかわしています。

　無料でブラウザーを使わせてやっているから広告を載せるぞ　というのは提供者の言い分です。

使用者は快適なブラウザーを求めています。

 I'm not good at Android smartphones and tablets because there are so many pop-up and sticky ads.

They also ask me to install unnecessary apps, which is bad for my mental health.

I use my smartphone for communication.

My tablet is light and compact, so I use it to blog and email while traveling.

 I installed Firefox as the browser on my Android tablet.

It's easy to use because no ads appear while I'm using the screen.

I imported my bookmarks from Chrome.

All browsers ask me to set it as the default, but I always decline by telling them I'll do it later.

 The providers argue that they'll display ads in exchange for letting people use the browser for free.
Users want a comfortable browser.

受付の人にパスワードを教えてもらって院内のネットワークに接続しようとしましたができませんでした。

受付の人がナースのネット・ドクターのネットにアクセスしてもchromebookのOSがうけつけません。

セキュリティーを低く設定しましたが接続できませんでした。

chromeのセキュリティーは強固です。

I asked the receptionist for the password and tried to connect to the hospital network, but I couldn't.
The receptionist tried to access the nurse's and doctor's networks, but the Chromebook's OS was not accepted.
I set the security to low, but I still couldn't connect.
Chrome's security is strong.

発売以来の改良・改善と長い間の経験に裏打ちされています。

インターネットがオンでもオフでも作動します。

最近はスマホにアクセス出来るようになりました。

　Chromebookはインターネットの接続が作動の条件です。

インターネットに接続していれば軽快に作動します。

他のOSとキーボードの配列が違います。

DELキーがありません。

文字を変換確定後に再変換することが出来ません。

個人の問題ですがグレーのキーボードは白い文字が見にくいです。

　アンドロイドタブレットはブックマークが表示さず不便です。

拡張機能を使うのは煩雑です、障害も起こります。

フローティングキーボードが頻繁に画面表示されるの面倒です。

マウスを使わないとコピーなどの部分選択が容易とは言えません。

It works whether the internet is on or off.

 Chromebooks require an internet connection to work.

The keyboard layout is different from other operating systems.

There is no DEL key.

You cannot reconvert characters after confirming them.

This is a personal issue, but the gray keyboard makes it difficult to read white text.

Using extensions is cumbersome and can cause problems.

文章のコピー等の操作が楽で早くなりました。

ELECOMの外付けキーボードとは相性が悪いようで４時間悪戦苦闘しましたが接続の継続ができませんでした。

マウスが使えるようになりタブレットの誤作動がなくなったのでこれでよしとします。

I am using a mouse connected via Bluetooth.

Operations like copying text have become easier and faster.

It seems that there is a compatibility issue with the ELECOM external keyboard, and I struggled for four hours but couldn't maintain the connection.

Now that I can use the mouse and the tablet's malfunction has stopped, I will consider this acceptable.

Windows10/11とAndoroidoとChromebookです。

Windowsの重要な更新があるたびに他のOSも電源チェックを兼ねてアップデートを確認しています。

それと同時にPCに保管しているデータを1TのHD２台にコピーしています。

従前は日本で買ったHDを使っていましたがWD社のHDがこちらで買えるようになり便利になりました。

保存するデータの中で趣味の水中のROW画像はデータは大きいんです。

良質なROW画像以外は捨てています。

AndoroidoとChromebookにはまだROW画像の現像のアプリはありません。

暫くは高度なアプリはWindowsで平易な作業はAndoroidoとChromebookという形で処理してゆきます。

Whenever there is an important Windows update, I check the power supply and check for updates for the other OS as well.

At the same time, I copy the data stored on my PC to two 1TB hard drives.

I used hard drives bought in Japan before, but it's become more convenient as WD hard drives are available here.

Of the data I store, underwater ROW images, which are my hobby, are large.

I discard all but the best quality ROW images.

There are no apps for Android and Chromebook that can develop ROW images yet.

For the time being, I will use Windows for advanced apps and Android and Chromebook for simple tasks.

Windows10PC内の安いDACで音をスピーカーに出力するときれいな音で音楽を聴けません。

Windows10から音楽を外付けDACに接続しています。

外付けDACからスピーカーに接続して音楽を聴いています。

PCからスピーカーに接続して音楽を聴くより良い音で音楽を聞くことが出来ます。

※WAV形式とはCDの原音をそのまま保管する形式。

※DACとは音楽のデジタルデータを人が聞けるアナログデータに変換する器機。

 What do you use your old Windows 10 PC for?

I store music in WAV format on my old Windows 10 PC.

I don't get good sound when outputting sound from Windows 10 to speakers, so I connect my music to an external DAC.

I listen to music by connecting the external DAC to speakers.

I can hear music with better sound than if I connect the PC to speakers.

*WAV format is a format that stores the original sound from a CD as is.

*DAC is a device that converts digital music data into analog data that people can listen to.

　何度もスマホの文字入力が上手くできなことはこのブログに書きました。

タブレットのタッチペンを使った文字入力はあまり効率が良くありません。

　スマホ・タブレットPC・Chromebookの操作をWindows11で出来て、スマホ・タブレットPC・ChromebookからWindows11にアクセスできるアプリの操作を今確認しているところです。

　いま使っている器機はWindows11・１台、スマホ・２台、タブレットPC・１台、Chromebook・１台の計5台です。

各器機の画面をミラーリングして操作して情報を５台の中で共有出来たら各器機の使い勝手も良くなり操作時間も短縮されます。

　記憶装置として1T(1テラバイト・1000メガバイト)の外付けのハードディスクを２台・メインとバックアップで使っていますが器機間でミラーリングが出来るであれば更に使い勝手が良くなるかもしれません。

　ざっくり言えば

いま使っている器機はWindows11・１台、スマホ・２台、タブレットPC・１台、Chromebook・１台の計5台の各器機から相互操作ができるようになります。

　前にNASU(インターネットでアクセスできる記憶装置)を使いましたがアクセスがWindows11PCに限定されていたので有効利用できませんでした。

　GLIDEXを使い慣れたらもう少し易しい言葉で解りやすい説明ができると思います。

少し勉強をする時間をください。

 As I have mentioned on this blog, I struggle to type properly on my smartphone.

Using a tablet's stylus for typing is not very efficient.

 Currently, I am checking the operation of apps that can access Windows 11 on my smartphone, tablet PC, and Chromebook.

 I currently use five devices: one Windows 11 computer, two smartphones, one tablet PC, and one Chromebook.

If I could mirror and operate the screens of each device and share information between them, it would improve usability and reduce operating time.

 I use two 1 TB (1 terabyte, 1000 megabytes) external hard drives for storage, one as the main drive and one as a backup. However, if I could mirror the devices, this would be even more convenient.

 Roughly speaking

I will be able to operate the five devices mutually: one Windows 11 device, two smartphones, one tablet PC, and one Chromebook.

 I have used a NAS (Network-Attached Storage) device before, but access was limited to Windows 11 PCs, so I was unable to make effective use of it.

 Once I am familiar with GLIDEX, I will be able to explain it more simply.

Please give me some time to practice more.

　晴れている日はインターネットの速度が速い。

雨が降るとそのスピードは落ちて50Mbps位になるが支障は全くない。

今はLANケーブルを接続することも無くなった。

快適すぎると少し気味が悪い。

When it rains, the speed drops to about 50 Mbps, but it doesn't cause any problems.

Now I don't even need to connect a LAN cable.

When it's too comfortable, it's a bit creepy.

アンドロイドタブレット。The android tablet.

　アンドロイドタブレットのタッチ画面対応機種にブルートースの外付けのキーボードとマウスを付けて使いやすさを試してみました。

　外付けのキーボードでの文字入力は無理ですね。

キーボードの反応が遅かったり早かったり作動不良です。

マウスのカーソルもきょろきょろして使い物になりません。

タッチペンで操作するととてもスムースに進みます。

　旅行はアンドロイドタブレット+タッチペン。

普段はWindows11とChromebookを併用して使ってゆきます。

 I attached an external Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to a touch-screen compatible Android tablet to test out ease of use.

It's impossible to type on the external keyboard.

The keyboard's response is sometimes slow and sometimes quick, and it doesn't work properly.

The mouse cursor also moves around a lot and is unusable.

Operation with the stylus is much smoother.

When traveling, I will use an Android tablet + stylus.

I am usually using them together with Windows 11 and a Chromebook.
