Brie cheese. ブリーチーズ。

　アーラ社のチーズを取り扱っている店のチ－ズ売り場をのぞくのが楽しみです。

先日カマンベールチーズと並んで写真のブリーチ－ズを売っていました。

食べたことがなかったので食べてみました。

私の舌では同じ白カビタイプのカマンベールと味の違いは判りませんでした。

 I always look forward to checking out the cheese section of a store that carries Arla cheese.

The other day, I saw the brie cheese pictured being sold alongside Camembert cheese.

I'd never tried it before, so I gave it a try.

To my palate, I couldn't discern the difference in taste between this and Camembert, which is also a type of white mold.

　強い陽が射しているのでミント入りのスプレーを使わず洗濯物を干した。

日陰になっている鉢植えの土の乾きを見に行ったら蚊に3か所刺された。

パッションフルーツ。 受難の果物。

　二階のご主人が家庭菜園で採れた果物を持ってきてくれた。

彼は私に　冷蔵庫に入れないで2から4日間ねかせてください　と教えてくれた。

いくつ要りますか　と聞かれたので試しに２つくださいと言って二つ貰った。

　６０年前くらいに團伊玖磨さんの随筆“パイプの煙”でこの果物は同じパッションでも情熱ではなく受難だと記してあったと思う。

確か著者の八丈島の別荘の随筆で読んだ気がする。

パイプの煙は　続　続々　まだ　まだまだ・・・　と続いたのでどの巻かは思い出せない。

八丈島でこの果物が収穫できることと唐辛子の木のステッキのことは覚えている。

初めて食べる果物なので味が楽しみだ。

The pipe smoke continued, "continue, continue, still, not yet...", so I can't remember which volume it was.

I recall that this fruit can be harvested on Hachijojima, and that there was a walking stick made from a chili pepper.

It's my first time eating this fruit, so I'm looking forward to the taste.
