　こちらで買った"ラーメンの袋"にはアラビア文字が書いてありました。

その麺でソース焼きそばをつくりました。

硬い麺は嫌いではありませんがこれは硬すぎます。

焼きそばに使うには蒸すか湯がいてから使ったほうがよさそうです。

　最近はラーメンよりうどんです。

HBでうどんを捏ねて冷蔵庫で一晩寝かせます。

パスタマシンを使うより手で延ばして切ったほうが簡単で時短です。

うどんは温かくしても冷してもおいしいですね。

丸亀うどんの真似をして野菜やイカ・エビ・魚の天ぷらをうどんの上にのせています。

　通販でおいしそうなうどん粉を売っていました。

他のものと一緒にこちらに送ってもらいます。

Steaming or boiling them before using them for yakisoba is best.

I knead the udon in a bread machine and leave it in the refrigerator overnight.
It's easier and quicker to roll out and cut it by hand than to use a pasta machine.
Udon is good both warm and cold.
I imitate Marugame Udon and top my udon with vegetables, squid, shrimp, and fish tempura.
 I found some tasty-looking udon flour for sale online.
I'll have it sent here along with the other things.

　驚いたのはパスタの種類の多い事です。

店には２０種類くらい並んでいました。

　食べ比べた中には変に粘っこいパスタもありました。

捨てるのはもったいないので我慢して食べました。

たけどもうそのメーカーのパスタは買いません。

昨夜は穏やかに８時に眠りにつきました。

夜中の１２時前から爆竹と花火のうるさい音に酔っぱらいの声が混じり３時ごろまで眠れませんでした。

彼等の新年のお祭りに付き合わされました。

彼らにとって新年は華僑の影響もあってお祭りなんですね。

　クリスマスは彼らにとってキリスト教の大切な儀式ですから騒ぐことはありません。

教会に行き家族と家で食事をしてゆったりと寛ぎます。

　日本のクリスマスイブもお祭りでに教会に行かずケーキを食べて酒を飲みます。

新年は昨年の穢れを清め一年の平穏を祈願します。

日本は仏教と神道と農業の行事が混然と一体になっています。

彼岸の墓参りはそのいい例ですね。

I was forced to join in their New Year's festival.
For them, the New Year is a festival, partly due to the influence of overseas Chinese.

Christmas is an essential Christian ritual for them, so there is no fuss.
They go to church, have a home meal with their family, and relax.

Christmas Eve in Japan is also a festival, so people don't go to church, but instead eat cake and drink alcohol.
The New Year is a time to cleanse oneself of the impurities of the past year and pray for peace in the coming year.
In Japan, Buddhism, Shinto, and agricultural rituals are intertwined.
Visiting graves during the equinoxes is a good example of this.

　果肉の白いドラゴンフルーツを初めて食べました。

それを食べたのはここに来てから初めてです。

赤い果肉のドラゴンフルーツと比べるとさっぱりした味でした。

スプーンで丸く削ってヨーグルトにいれました。

種のプチプチの食感は面白いですね。

カスピ海ヨーグルトが５００ml出来上がりました。

　今回はこのヨーグルトの入っている容れ物のことです。

写真の容れ物ともう一つ小型の容れ物をこちらに来てすぐ買いました。

我慢して今まで使ってきましたが２つとも蓋と本体の螺旋のかみ合わせが悪いんです。

蓋が閉まりにくく、開けずらいんです。

ダイソーも出来たことですし新しい容器を買おうと思ってでかけました。

買おうとするたびに"昭和生れのもったいない"が頭をもたげてきます。

”家に２つあるのにもったいない”　”使える容器があるのに買うなんてもったいない”

買いかえが出来ません。

困っています。

　タブレットが時々誤作動するようになりました。

タブレットのOSは２０２１年以降更新されていません。

仕方がないので工場出荷時に戻してから再起動するとOSが更新されました。

面倒くさいタブレットです。

　ハードウエアの店で”シャワーの給湯器が壊れました”どれが一番いいですかと聞きました。

"シャワーを浴びたいので今日買ったものを取り付けてもらえますか"と聞くと"今日の午後私が取り付けます"というありがたいお話でした。

彼に勧められたものを買いました。

彼は熟練した電気技師でした。

　日本製の給湯器は３年で駄目になりました。

冷蔵庫３台のうちの２台は日本製です、冷えがよくありません、異音を出します。

他の１台はよく冷えて静かです。

　こちらの家電売り場から日本製は姿を消しました。

円の価値と家電の品質は連動しているようです。

I replaced it with a new one.

I bought the one he recommended.

Two of our three refrigerators are Japanese-made, and they don't cool well and make strange noises.
The other one cools well and is quiet.
 Japanese-made products have disappeared from the home appliance section here.

いつのまにか料理の間に皿や調理器具が洗えるようになりました。 Before I knew it, I was washing plates and utensils between cooking sessions.

　自分で料理しているうちにレシピがだんだん簡単になってきました。

煮込み料理以外は時間をかけなくなりました。

　トマトソースはイタリアとスペインの角切りのトマト缶を使っています。

前は人参のすりおろしと玉ねぎのみじん切りを入れていました。

今は玉ねぎのみじん切りだけを入れています。

パスタを茹でる前に玉ねぎを炒めてからトマトをいれます。

茹で上がったパスタに半分のトマトソースを使います。

　残りの半分は別の日にスープに入れています。

じゃがいものグラタンなど作った料理の使い回しができるようになりました。

料理の時間が短かくなり品数が増えました。

いつのまにか料理の間に皿や調理器具が洗えるようになりました。

 I use canned diced tomatoes from Italy and Spain for my tomato sauce.
I used to add grated carrot and chopped onion.
Now I just add chopped onion.
Before boiling the pasta, I sauté the onions and then add the tomatoes.
I use half of the tomato sauce with the boiled pasta.

 I add the other half to the soup on another day.
I've been able to reuse dishes I've made, like potato gratin.
Cooking time has shortened, and the variety of dishes has increased.
Before I knew it, I was washing plates and utensils between cooking sessions.
