　冷蔵庫のパッキンの接合部を丁寧に拭き掃除をしました。

密閉度が上がったようです。

冷蔵庫の外側の温度が下がりモーター音も静かになりました。

 I carefully wiped the joints of the refrigerator's gasket clean.

　コンロは油汚れがひどいので中性洗剤で洗ってから磨きました。

 The stove was very dirty with oil, so I washed it with a mild detergent and then polished it.

　床の隅や柱の周りにこびりついた汚れはアルカリ洗剤をつけてブラシでこすりました。

あと二回洗えばこびりついた汚れも無くなります。

 To remove the dirt that had stuck to the corners of the floor and around the pillars, I applied an alkaline detergent and scrubbed it with a brush.

If I wash it two more times, the stuck-on dirt will be gone.

麦茶。barley tea.

 あせをかいた時に冷たい麦茶を飲むと仄かなな苦味が口に広がります。

麦を煎った香りが鼻に抜けて行きます。

私は今まで麦茶になにも混ぜずにこのさっぱりした味の飲み方を受け継いで来たことに驚いています。

よその国であれば麦茶のベースに砂糖をいれたりミルクを入れたりタピオカを入れたりして賑やかな飲み物になったことでしょう。

それはそれでおいしい飲み物だとおもいます。

日本は常夏の国ではなく暑い夏がみじかい国であることが影響はしているのかもしれません。

白玉を浸す液に砂糖を溶かした麦茶を使ったりしません。

この麦茶文化は本当にすごいなと思っています。

コーヒーや紅茶に砂糖をいれずに砂糖を入れずに飲む人が多い事は麦茶文化と関係しているのでしょうか。

I'm amazed that the Japanese have inherited this refreshing way of drinking barley tea without adding anything.

In other countries, they would add sugar, milk, or tapioca to the barley tea base to make it a more lively drink.

I think that's a delicious drink in its own right.

Japan is not a country with perpetual summer, and this may be an influence, as the hot summer is short in Japan.

They don't use barley tea with sugar dissolved in it to soak the shiratama dumplings.

I think this barley tea culture is truly amazing.

Is the fact that many Japanese people drink coffee or tea without sugar related to the barley tea culture?

インターネット回線の配線とWIFIルーターを変えました。I changed the internet wiring and WIFI router.

　この電柱でインターネットのケーブルを折り返して軒下を通し室内に線を引き入れていました。

お二階さんは私が契約しているケーブルに接続してルーターを取り付けていました。

これがインターネットの速度が落ちた大きな原因です。

盗電が行われる国なの電波法違反の意識はありません。

あるものは利用させてもらおうという考えが優先しています。

 The internet cable was folded around this utility pole and passed under the eaves before being pulled into the room.

Mr. Second Floor connected to that cable and installed a router.

That cable is the one I have a contract with.

This is the main reason why my internet speed has slowed down.

Since we live in a country where electricity theft occurs, there is no awareness of violating the Radio Law.

The priority is the idea that we should be able to use whatever is available.

PCやスマートフォンの接続変更を行いました。

20Mbpsの速度があればさほどストレスを感じることがなくPCを操作できます。

これで航空券のオンラインチェックインや出入国のWEB登録が出来ます。

インターネットプロバイダーと契約している500Mbpsには程遠い速度です。

そのギャップは旅行から帰って来てから改めてインターネットプロバイダーに相談します。

 I had the WIFI router replaced with a new one.

I changed the connections for my PC and smartphone.

With a speed of 20Mbps, I can operate my PC without too much stress.

With this, I can check in online for my flight and register online for immigration.

This is a far cry from the 500Mbps I have a contract with my internet provider for.

I will talk to my internet provider about the difference after I return from my trip.

I'm having trouble with my slow internet connection.

I stopped by GOODDIVE at lunchtime on my way home from shopping, but no one was there.

A new boat was there, so I took a picture of it.

In the afternoon, I went to the PLDT Tagbilaran branch to check the current contract and request repairs.

The contract was for 500Mbps and the overpayment was just under 10,000 pesos.

I asked for the repairs to be done tomorrow, but the person in charge insisted on doing the repairs three days later, which was troublesome.

エイガーを見つけた。 I found agar.

　寒天の代わりになるエイガーを見つけました。

ゼラチンは溶かす時に液体の温度を８０℃以上にすると固まらなくなります。

また常温では固まりません、冷やさないと固まりません。

寒天とエイガーは液体を沸騰させて煮溶かさないと固まりません。

常温で固まり始めます。

　水羊羹もどきを作る時にはゼラチンよりも寒天・エイガーのほうが歯触りと食感が良いんです。

これは好みの問題だから難しですね。

これで日本で寒天粉を買わなくてよくなりました。

このメーカーの物は甘みがはじめからついているので次は甘みのないエイガーを探してみます。

It also will not solidify at room temperature, unless it is cooled.

Kanten and agar will not solidify unless the liquid is boiled and dissolved.

They start to solidify at room temperature.

When making imitations of mizu yokan, kanten, and agar have a better texture and mouthfeel than gelatin.

This is a matter of preference, so it's difficult to say.

Now I don't have to buy agar powder in Japan.

The product from this manufacturer is already sweetened, so next time I will look for unsweetened agar.
