タグビララン～セブ。

 タグビララン港の待合室はマニラに行く夜行便の乗客で混んでいました。

 セブの空港についてからフライト迄の長い待ち時間をもて余しました。

いつも８時か９時に寝ているので眠くて々仕方がありません。

コーヒーを飲んでもすぐに眠くなります。

深夜便は昼型の私向きではありません。

 The waiting room at Tagbilaran Port was crowded with passengers for a night ferry to Manila.

After arriving at Cebu airport, I had a long wait time before my flight.

I usually go to bed at 8 or 9 o'clock, so I was really sleepy.

Even if I drink coffee, I get sleepy again quickly.

Late-night flights are not for me, as I'm a daytime person.

両替。Exchange.

　今回の帰国で両替はタグビララン市内でしました。

セブに比べるとレートは悪いです。

セブの両替商に　長時間待たされる　付帯の両替費用　を払う不愉快さからは解放されました。

　市内での両替は１万円単位です。

ここはセブのような大都市ではないので日本円はそう集まらないんでしょうね。

　日本の健康保険の無効が発生して保険なしで全額払いました。

これについては今回入国後に役所の担当部所に話を聞きに行ってきます。

予測では入出国と転出・転入の問題が絡んでいるので調べてもらうのに時間がかかりそうです。

その辺は丁寧にしているつもりですが誤りがあるのかもしれません。

私の手続きの誤りであれば訂正してゆきます。

良いアドバイスも期待しています。

今回は寒さに悩まされる心配はないのでその点は安心しています。

　GOODさんのきれいな砂浜の企画いいですね。

パッケージ化されることを期待しています。

干潮時に現れるきれいな干潟で冷たいコーラを飲んでみたいですね。

 On this trip back to Japan, I exchanged money in Tagbilaran City.

The exchange rate is worse than in Cebu.

I was relieved from the unpleasantness of having to wait long hours at money changers in Cebu and paying the associated exchange fees.

 Money exchange in the city is in 10,000 yen increments.

This is not a big city like Cebu, so it's probably hard to collect Japanese yen.

 My Japanese health insurance was invalidated, and I paid the full amount without insurance.

I will go and ask the relevant department at the government office about this after I enter the country.

I expect it will take some time to look into it, as it involves issues of entry and exit, and moving in and out.

I try to be careful about that, but there may be mistakes.

If there is an error in my procedure, I will correct it.

I am also looking forward to some good advice.

I am relieved that I won't have to worry about the cold this time.

 GOOD's plan for a beautiful sandy beach is great.

I hope it will be packaged.

I'd love to drink a cold cola on the beautiful tidal flats that appear at low tide.

食パン。White bread.

　ホームベーカリーで時間のかかる　ソフト食パン　モードで焼きました。

パン生地の発酵時間のせいでしょうか食パンの山型部分が膨らみすぎました。

しっとりとしたおいしい食パンを食べたいので水の代わりに牛乳と生クリームを使いました。

今回は水の量180ｃｃに対して牛乳150ｃｃ・生クリーム40ｃｃを使いました。

次回は牛乳と生クリームの量を減らして調整します。

 I baked this in my bread maker using the "soft bread" setting.

Perhaps it was because of the dough's fermentation time, but the peaks of the bread rose too much.

I wanted to have a deliciously moist bread, so I used milk and fresh cream instead of water.

This time, I used 150cc of milk and 40cc of fresh cream to make 180cc of water.

Next time, I will adjust by reducing the amounts of milk and fresh cream.

修理の日。 Repair day.

　今朝は早朝から水道屋さんが来て台所の流し台の直してくれた。

ありがたい。

これで４つの流し台が使えるようになった。

　布団を干す台を頑丈に作りすぎた。

台の出し入れが重くて困っていた。

重い台を鋸で切って軽い台を作った。

台の出し入れが楽になった。

電動工具はありがたい。

 The plumber came early this morning and fixed the kitchen sink.

Thank you.

Now we can use all four sinks.

 I made the futon drying rack too sturdy.

I was having trouble taking it in and out because it was so heavy.

I cut the heavy rack down with a saw and made a lighter one.

It's now easier to take the rack in and out.

I'm grateful for power tools.

パウンドケーキ。 The pound cake.

　パウンドケーキを焼くと後から入れたレーズンが下に沈んでしまうので困っていた。

今回材料の量を調節してレーズンが沈まなくなった。

たったこれだけのことだが嬉しいものだ。

今回はケーキにレモンチェロをたらして食べました。

今回の飲み物はコーヒーでした。

次回は紅茶にするつもりです。

 I was having trouble with the raisins that I added after baking a pound cake because they would sink to the bottom.

This time I adjusted the amounts of ingredients, and the raisins no longer sink.

It's a simple thing, but it makes me very happy.

This time, I drizzled limoncello on the cake.

I had coffee this time.

コーヒー豆。Coffee beans

　コーヒー豆の袋入りがなくなりました。

歯の治療で日本に帰るので今飲んでいるキリマンジャロとモカマタリ・コロンビアのスプレモを買うつもりです。

　桜の時期の帰国で自分の耐寒性のなさを思い知らされました。

サクラを見に行った４月にキリマンジャロを1ｋｇ買いました。

２ヶ月で1ｋｇのコーヒー豆を消費していることになります。

3ｋｇのコーヒー豆を使い切るのは６ヶ月です。

６か月後の日本は厳寒です。

　国際便・航空便で日本からここに送ってもらうと届くまでに１か月か１か月半かかります。

日本から送った荷物はマニラへ１日か２日で着きます。

荷物がマニラを出るのが１週間か２週間後です。

その後どういうコースを通るのか解りませんが２、３週間後にタグビラランに着きます。

おそらく船便を使っているのでしょう。

　日本から　食べ物を送ってあげる　という友人が何人かいました。

日本の宅急便やクール宅急便を基準にしているので遅延を説明して止めてもらうのが大変でした。

日本の物差しで計るととんでもないことになります。

 I've run out of bags of coffee beans.

I'm going back to Japan for dental treatment, so I'm planning to buy the Kilimanjaro I'm drinking now and Mocha Matari Colombia Supremo.

 Returning to Japan during cherry blossom season made me realize how poor my tolerance for cold weather is.

I bought 1kg of Kilimanjaro in April when I went to see the cherry blossoms.

That means I'll have consumed 1kg of coffee beans in two months.

It will take six months to use up 3 kilograms of coffee beans.

It will be bitterly cold in Japan six months from now.

If you send something here from Japan by international or air mail, it will take one to one and a half months to arrive.

Packages sent from Japan arrive in Manila in one or two days.

It takes one or two weeks for the package to leave Manila.

I don't know what route it takes after that, but it arrives in Tagbilaran two or three weeks later.

They probably use sea mail.

 I had a few friends who said they would send me food from Japan.

They use Japan's Takkyubin and Cool Takkyubin as standards, so it was difficult to explain the delay and get them to stop.

You can't measure logistics in this country by Japanese standards.

きのうはいい天気でしたが停電でした。 Yesterday was nice weather, but there was a power outage.

電気が使えないと加熱・解凍が出来ません。

フレンチトーストをフライパンで焼いてコーヒー豆を手で挽いて朝飯にしました。

シャワーを浴びて汗をながしてから買い物に行きたいんですが加圧式の水道なので使えません。

停電の時は水が重力で落ちる高置水槽が羨ましいですね。

午後６時過ぎに復電したのでシャワーを浴びてさっぱりしました。

Yesterday was nice weather, but there was a power outage.

Without electricity, I am unable to heat or defrost food.

I made French toast in a frying pan and ground coffee beans by hand for breakfast.

I'd like to take a shower to wash off the sweat before going shopping, but the water supply is pressurized, so I am unable to use it.

I'm envious of people who have elevated water tanks where water falls under gravity during a power outage.

The power was restored just after 6pm, so I took a shower and freshened up.
