やはり水量も欲しいです。 I still want more water after all.

 

　節水のため水量が少なく水圧の強いシャワーヘッドに替えましたが・・・

水量が少ないと石鹸をきれいに洗い流せません。

水圧があり水量も適度に多いシャワーヘッドに換えました。

　シャワーを浴びてさっぱりしてリラックスしたいんです。

シャワーを浴びたあと気のせいかもしれませんが石鹸が肌に残っていると気持ちが落ち着かないんです。

気持ちって生きていくうえで大切ですよね。

なんかいやだなあ　という気持ちを引きずりたくないんです。

気分次第　という言葉があります。

気分次第で食べ物の味も変わるし、見ている風景も変わります。

自分の気持は大切にしたいですね。

 I switched to a showerhead with low water flow but high water pressure to save water.
With low water flow, I can't rinse off the soap properly.
I switched to a showerhead with good water pressure and moderate flow.

 I want to take a shower to feel refreshed and relaxed.

After showering, it might just be my imagination, but if soap residue remains on my skin, I feel uneasy.

Feelings are important for living, aren't they?

I don't want to dwell on negative feelings.

There's a saying, "It all depends on your mood."

The taste of food changes depending on your mood, and even the scenery you see changes.

I want to cherish my own feelings.

　トブラローネのこげ茶色のパケージがありました。

初めてみました。

チョコレートが違うんですね。

ダークチョコレートです。

ミルクチョコレートに比べるとちょっと苦みがあります。

三角のマッターホルンの図形の中に動物が描かれているそうです。

酒を飲み始めた頃にバーのおねーさんに”このラベルのどこにキリンが描かれているかわかる”と言われたことを思い出しました。

 I found a Toblerone in a dark brown package.
It was the first time I'd seen it.
The chocolate inside was different from the yellow-labeled version.
It was dark chocolate.
It's a little more bitter than milk chocolate.

 Apparently, there's an animal depicted inside a triangular Matterhorn shape.

 It reminded me of when I first started drinking, a bar hostess asked me, "Can you find the giraffe on this label?"

飲酒欲求が急に強くなりました。 My craving for alcohol has suddenly become very strong.

　ドライシーズンです。

晴れた暑い日が続いています。

 It's the dry season.
We've been having a string of sunny, hot days.

　今月の半ばで禁酒７ヶ月になります。

暑い日が続いたせいでしょうか飲酒欲求が強くなりました。

買い物にゆくとビールの陳列をみてしまいます。

 It will be seven months since I stopped drinking in the middle of this month.

Perhaps because of the continued hot weather, my craving for alcohol has increased.

When I go shopping, I find myself looking at the beer displays.

　”飲酒欲求はどのくらいたったら消えるのかなあ”と思いながらキンキンに冷えた缶入の炭酸水を飲んでいます。

 I'm drinking an ice-cold can of sparkling water, wondering, "How long will it take for this craving for alcohol to go away?"

進路に問題があります。 There is a problem with the typhoon's path.

こんな事もあるんですね。 I was surprised that something like this could happen.

 

　今日はレジに長い々列が出来ていました

溜息をついて列の最後尾に並びました。

店の人に案内されてまだ開いていないレジに行きました。

レジが開き待たずに支払いが出来ました。

白くなった頭が役に立ちました。

こんな事もあるんですね。

 There was a really long line at the checkout today.
I sighed and joined the end of the line.
A store employee directed me to a checkout that wasn't open yet.
The checkout opened, and I was able to pay without waiting.
My white hair came in handy.
I was surprised that something like this could happen.

熱帯性低気圧が発生しました。 A tropical depression has formed.

　台風は5/10にフィリピン東方海上で熱帯性低気圧になる模様です。

 The typhoon is expected to weaken into a tropical depression over the sea east of the Philippines on May 10th.

はじめてハッシュブラウンを作りました。 I made hash browns for the first time.

 

 　刻んだジャガイモをレンチンしました。

レンジから出した熱いジャガイモを小判型にまとめました。

それを焦がさないように低めの温度で揚げました。

　外側がカリッと揚がりませんでした。

次回は油にラードを混ぜて揚げてみます。

　揚げ物の場合は調味料は揚げた後で用意するべきですね。

今回は手回しよくケチャップとマスタードを先に用意しました。

揚げたてにケチャップをつけて食べたので口の中をやけどしました。

 
 I microwaved chopped potatoes.
I shaped the hot potatoes from the microwave into oval patties.
I fried them at a low temperature to prevent burning.

 The outside didn't get crispy.
Next time, I'll try frying them with lard mixed in.

 When frying, you should prepare the condiments after frying.
This time, I cleverly prepared ketchup and mustard beforehand.
I ate them with ketchup while they were still hot, and burned my mouth.
