居住証明書。 Certificate of residence.

　居住証明書を町役場からもらいました。

年金機構は日本領事館の証明書を要求しています。

こちらも立派な・正式な居住証明書です。

担当部署から突き返されたら日本領事館の証明書をもらいにセブへ行きます。

さてさてどういう事になるやら先行きが楽しみです。

郵便局の速達便を使ったので８００ペソ弱かかりました。

　速達の郵便はフィリピン国内で１０日間から２週間経ってから日本に発送されるようです。

日本では１２時間から２４時間で宛先に届きます。

随分と日数のかかる速達便です。

 I received a certificate of residence from the town hall. 

The Pension Service is requesting a certificate from the Japanese Consulate. 

This is also a proper, official certificate of residence. 

If it is rejected by the relevant department in Japan, I will go to Cebu to get a certificate from the Japanese Consulate. 

I am looking forward to seeing what happens.

I used express mail from the post office, so it cost just under 800 pesos. 

 It will be shipped to Japan after 10 days to 2 weeks. 

In Japan, it will arrive at its destination in 12 to 24 hours. 

It is express mail but takes quite a long time.

　血圧の定期報告です。

脈拍値が下がりました。

　西瓜を食べると血管が拡がるそうです。

マンゴー・ポメロ・パイナップル・アボカド等々の果物を去年の倍量食べています。

主食をしっかりとるので（がつがつ食べるので）満腹になり食後の果物を食べられません。

あさの空腹時に果物で腹をなだめてから朝食にしています。

この食べ方なら果物をたくさん食べることが出来ます。

体調の変化は特にありません。

皮下脂肪をつけたいのですが体重は増えてくれません。

I'm eating twice as much fruit as last year, including mangoes, pomelos, pineapples, and avocados.

I eat a lot of staple foods (I eat voraciously), so I get full quickly and can't eat fruit after a meal.

When I'm hungry in the morning, I eat fruit to calm my stomach, and then have it for breakfast.

This way I can eat a lot of fruit.

I haven't noticed any particular changes in my physical condition.

I want to gain subcutaneous fat, but my weight isn't increasing.

指先の皮を切らないで欲しい。 Please don't cut the skin off my fingertips.

　髪を切ってもらう時に爪も一緒に切っています。

透明なマニュキュアをしろと言われますがしていません。

手の爪を切るときも足の爪を切るときにも指先と爪の周りの皮を切られます。

そのせいで時々指先が痛かったり水がしみたりします。

その都度化膿すると嫌なのでアルコール消毒をしています。

爪を切るときに　指先の皮は切らないでください　と言っていますが彼女達は私の頼み事を聞いてくれません。

周りでマニュキュアをしているおばさんたちの指より私の手足の指はほっそりしています。

指先の皮を何故切るのか理由がわかりません。

マニュキュアをしている女子の方にお尋ねします。

マニュキュアをする時に指先の皮を切るものなのでしょうか。

　指先の化膿が怖いので髪を切る時に爪を切ってもらうのを止めました。

彼女たちに　どうして爪を切らないんだ　と聞かれたので　指先の皮を切るから時々痛いんだ　と答えました。

彼女たちは　そんな事はない　と言って譲りません。

彼女たちのプライドを傷つけるつもりは毛頭ありません。

私は彼女たちの問いにこたえず首をふって爪を切る意思のない事を表明しています。

 When I get my hair cut, I cut my nails with it.

They tell me to wear clear nail polish, but I don't.

When they cut my nails, they cut the skin around my fingertips and nails.

This sometimes causes my fingertips to hurt and water stains.

I disinfect them with alcohol because I don't want them to get infected each time.

I have told them not to cut the skin around my fingertips when they cut my nails, but they don't listen to my requests.

My fingers and toes are slimmer than those of the ladies around me who get manicures.

I don't know why they cut the skin off my fingertips.

I ask the girls who do manicures.

Do you cut the skin off your fingertips when you do manicures?

I stopped having my fingernails cut when I cut my hair because I was afraid of festering on my fingertips.

She said to me why don't you cut your nails here.

I replied that sometimes it hurts because you cut the skin off my fingertips.

They said that was not true and would not budge.

日本の尺度では暮らしてゆけない。 I couldn't survive by Japanese standards.

　町役場に在留証明を受け取りに行くと　ごめん明日にして　と言われた。

洋裁店に行くと　まだできていないの　土曜に来て　と言われた。

日本の物差しを捨ててこちらの物差しで測れるようになったので腹はたたない。

その事が終わるのが１週間遅れても困ることはない。

そう思えるようになってから気持ちが楽になった。

自分の中の二つの予定がくるってしまった。

予定を植木関係に 変更した。

 When I went to the town hall to collect my residence certificate, the staff member said, "Sorry, please do it tomorrow."

When I went to the dressmaking shop, they told me it wasn't ready yet and to return on Saturday.

I'm not upset because I've now thrown away my Japanese ruler and can measure things with one here.

It won't be a problem if the job is completed a week late.

Once I started thinking like that, I felt more at ease.

Two of my plans have come to an end.

I changed my plans to something related to gardening.

　鉢植えの土と植木を２本と植木鉢を買ったらバイクはいっぱいだ。

My bike is full after buying some potting soil, two plants, and a flowerpot.

　買ってきた植木を鉢に入れた。

根が育ちすぎた鉢植えは大きな鉢に植え替えた。

右の鉢はガマガエルが住み着くようになってから枯れ始めた。

ガマは毒液を出すのだろうか。

I put the plants I bought in the pots.

I repotted the potted plants whose roots had grown too much into larger pots.

The pot on the right began to wither after a toad moved in.

I wonder if toads secrete something toxic.

　鉢の土が少なくなった鉢に買ってきた土を足した。

　午後の日差しと紫外線は強い。

全身汗まみれだ。

強い日差しを避けて日陰に入るとすぐに蚊が寄ってくる。

日向に出ると蚊は追ってこない。

蚊は強い日差しと紫外線が苦手なことが分かった。

　シャワーを浴びて汗を流してから冷えた西瓜を食べた。

汗まみれになった後の西瓜は旨かった。

The afternoon sun and UV rays are strong.

I was covered in sweat from head to toe.

As soon as I went into the shade to avoid the strong sunlight, mosquitoes immediately approached me.

When I went out into the sun, the mosquitoes didn't follow me.

I realized that mosquitoes don't like strong sunlight and ultraviolet rays.

I took a shower to wash off the sweat and then ate some chilled watermelon.

The watermelon tasted good after being covered in sweat.
