横も縦も縮んだ。 They've shrunk both horizontally and vertically.

　旅行中洗濯物は乾燥機で乾かしました。

ジーンズは長さもウエストも縮んでいい感じです。

待てよ、ウエストが縮んでちょうどいいのは体重が減ったのでわかります。

長さが丁度よくなったのは身長が縮んだんだね。

まあしょうがない。

　歯科医で治療したときに歯が酸で侵されていると言われました。

それ以来果物を食べた後歯磨きをしています。

歯の琺瑯質もすり減ったのかなあ。

とほほ・・・

 I dried my laundry in the dryer during my trip.

The length and waist of my jeans have shrunk and they look great.

But wait, I know the waist has shrunk and is just right because I've lost weight.

The length is just right because I've shrunk in height.

Oh well.

 When I went to the dentist, I was told that my teeth were being eaten away by acid.

Since then, I've been brushing my teeth after eating fruit.

I wonder if the enamel on my teeth has worn down, too.

Oh well...

二日目の朝。 It's the morning of the second day.

　アルコールを控えてから夕方にコーヒーを飲むと眠れなくなりました。

そのような訳でけさ楽しみにしていたハワイのコナコーヒーを飲みました。

初めて飲みます。

ブラックだと苦みがありますが砂糖をいれると酸味がでてきました。

まろやかなコーヒーですね。

　冷蔵庫に残っていた干からびたパンでフレンチトーストを作りました。

日本で買ったジャガイモ１個蒸しのテストをしてトマトを刻んで豆抜きのサラダにしました。

　セブのホテルで一晩、自宅で一晩寝たので鼻と喉の異常はなくなりました。

転地療法のありがたさを改めて感じています。

左の手首が痒いのは一週間腕時計をしたせいです。

改めてアレルギーの異物の感知と異物の排除には驚いています。

スマホで時間が解るので腕時計は卒業ですね。

　ショートパンツと半袖を着ています。

 Since I've cut down on alcohol, I can't sleep if I drink coffee in the evening.

So this morning I drank the Hawaiian Kona coffee I've been looking forward to.

It's my first time drinking it.

It's bitter when you drink it black, but when you add sugar, it becomes acidic.

It's a mellow coffee.

 I made French toast with some dried bread that was left in the fridge.

I tested the potato steamer I bought in Japan and chopped up some tomatoes to make a bean-free salad.

I slept one night in a hotel in Cebu and one night at home, so the problems with my nose and throat have gone away.

I'm once again grateful for the health resort therapy.

 My left wrist is itchy because I've been wearing a watch for a week.

I'm amazed at how well my allergies can detect and eliminate foreign substances.

I can tell the time on my smartphone, so I'm done with watches.

I'm wearing shorts and a short-sleeved shirt.

 The temperature at 9 o'clock is 29°C.

暖かいのはありがたいね。 It's nice to be warm.

　乗客は少なかったですよ。

パングラオの観光客の配分率と一緒で外人さんと中国・韓国が半々でした。

日本人は私だけでした。

落日の国日本、とことん落ちるところまで落ちないと目が覚めないのでしょうね。

 There were not many passengers on the high-speed ferry.

The tourist population was the same as in Panglao, with half foreigners, half Chinese, and Koreans.

I was the only Japanese person there.

Japan is a declining country, and I guess it won't wake up until it has fallen into despair.

　汗を流しながら荷物の整理をして書類を旅行時とフィリピンに分けました。

 Sweating as I organized my luggage, I divided my documents between my trip and the Philippines.

　こんかい日本で一番驚いたのは無印良品の石鹸です。

泡立ちがよく細かい泡がたちます。

一緒に買ったフェイスブラシで洗ってニベアを塗ったので顔がツルツルしっとりプリプリしています。

 The thing that surprised me the most about my time in Japan this time was Muji soap.

It lathers well and creates fine bubbles.

I washed my face with the face brush I bought with it and applied Nivea, so my face is now smooth, moist, and plump.

湿度と温度で生き返りました。 I am refreshed when It cames alive with humidity and temperature.

　成田空港でホットドッグとご飯半分の牛丼を食べました。

僕は機内食よりこっちのほうが良いな。

 I had a hot dog and a beef bowl with half rice at Narita Airport.

I prefer this to in-flight meals.

　座席番号は１Fです、足元は充分余裕があります。

機は予定時刻に離着陸をしました。

セブのホテルにチェックインは18：30です。

 I got a seat in 1F. 

I had plenty of legroom.

The plane took off and landed at the scheduled time.

I checked into my hotel in Cebu at 6:30pm.

　韓陽苑で食事をしました。

サンミゲルはなくなり代わりに生ビールになりました。

 I had supper at Hanyangwon.

San Miguel was out of stock, and they had draft beer instead.

　窓を開けると湿った暖かい風が入ってきます。

身体も安心して毛穴を開きます。

 When I opened the window, a humid, warm breeze came in.

My body felt at ease, and my pores opened up.

　機内の持ち込み荷物に歯ブラシと小さな練り歯磨き（50ｇ）を入れています。

ホテルの硬い歯ブラシと変な歯磨き粉は御免です。

 I kept a toothbrush and a small piece of toothpaste in my carry-on luggage.

I didn't want the hard toothbrushes and weird toothpaste at hotels.

渋谷に行ってきた。I went to Shibuya.

　渋谷でウエットスーツをピックアップしました。

もちろん丁寧にお礼を言いました。

蕎麦屋さんで前回と同じものを食べてきました。

 I picked up a wetsuit in Shibuya.

Of course, I politely thanked them.

I ate the same soba noodles as last time at a restaurant.

　東京駅のキオスクで懐かしいのど飴を買いました。

 I bought some nostalgic throat lozenges at a kiosk in Tokyo Station.

　新幹線で座ると睡魔がやってきました。

眠くて眠くて乗り過ごさないように目をショボショボさせて頑張りました。

眠気にはカフェインです。

 As soon as I sat down on the Shinkansen, sleepiness set in.

I was so sleepy that I tried my best to avoid missing my stop, squinting my eyes out.

Caffeine helps with sleepiness.

買い物するときに重宝しています。I find it very useful when I go shopping with it.

　日本で買い物用に航空機内持ち込みサイズのケースを買いました。

キャスターの音が静かなので驚きました。

向こうの住まいで使うものを買って運ぶ時に重い思いをせず重宝しています。

袋を手に下げて運ぶよりも楽で々助かっています。

　このサイズのケースはフィリピンで何度か買いました。

セブで買い物をしてボホールまで運ぶときにとても楽なんです。

向こうで買ったものはキャスター音がうるさくすぐにキャスターが壊れてしまいました。

キャスターの壊れたスーツケースは植木鉢にするか猫の寝床にする以外使い道がありません。

 I bought a case that is the size of carry-on luggage in Japan.

I was surprised at how quiet the wheels were.

I find it very useful when buying things to use at my home overseas and carrying them without it being heavy.

It's much easier than carrying a bag in my hands and is a great help.

I have bought this size case several times in the Philippines.

It's very convenient when carrying shopping from Cebu to Bohol.

The wheels were very noisy and broke quickly.

The only use for a suitcase with broken wheels is as a plant pot or a cat bed.
