　風が変わったので海の透明度が良くなりました。

きのうは晴れて透明度が良かったので気持ちよく潜りました。

髭剃り、感触と実際は異なる。 Razors feel and act differently.

　５枚刃の剃刀を持ち歩くのが億劫になりました。

日本に桜を見に行った時に日本で袋入りの３枚刃の剃刀を買いました。

その３枚刃の剃刀を使って　これは切れるなー　と感心しました。

　こちらに帰って来てから３枚刃と５枚刃を使い比べてみると５枚刃に軍配が上がりました。

何事も直感に頼ってはいけないな　と思った次第です。

使い比べて初めて優劣の判るものもありますね。

両方とも引っかからずに気持ちよく髭が剃れます。

 I've become reluctant to carry a five-blade razor around.

I bought a packet of a three-blade razor when I went to Japan to see the cherry blossoms.

When I used the three-blade razor, I was impressed with its sharpness.

 After coming back here, I compared a three-blade razor with a five-blade razor and found that the five-blade razor is easier to use.

I've realized that I shouldn't rely on intuition in anything.

I can't really tell which is better until you compare them.

Both shave comfortably without any caught from the blade.

　アジアンタムの生育が悪いので植え替えをしました。

人も植物も環境は大切ですね。

新しい芽も順調に育っています。

 My Adiantum wasn't growing well, so I repotted it.

The environment is important for both people and plants.

The new buds are growing well.

前は酒を飲みながら平気で平らげた料理を食べきれなかった。

前は酒を飲みながらピザを追加して残りはテイクアウトしていた。

炭酸水を飲みながら”食べる量が減った事を実感した”。

もう”食えばわかる”と”胃に歯がある”は返上しなければいけない。

　フォークとナイフでピクルスやオリーブの実やモッツァレラチーズのサイコロは上手く摘まめない。

箸箱から箸を出して摘まんで食べていたらフィリピン人の老婦人が二人何度も振り向いて私が箸を使うのを見ていた。

彼女たちは上手にフォークとナイフを使っていた。

私はフォークとナイフを彼女たちのようにうまく使うことが出来ない。

It's been a long time since I quit drinking, and I went to an Italian restaurant.

I was surprised by something.

Before, I couldn't finish the food that I used to be able to eat while drinking.

I added pizza to this and took the rest to go.

As I drank carbonated water, I realized that I was eating less.

I must give up on my ideas that "I'll know when I eat" and "my stomach has teeth."

 I can't pick up pickles, olives, or diced mozzarella cheese with a fork and knife.

As I took my chopsticks out of the case, picked them up, and ate, two old Filipino ladies turned around several times to watch me use them.

They were using a fork and knife skillfully.

I can't use a fork and knife as skillfully as they can.

小雨が降り続いている。

近くに雷雲が居座っているようだ。

大きな雷鳴や小さな雷鳴が鳴っている。

雨のせいで気温は低い。

　今迄は雨が降るとインターネットの速度が極端に下がった。

小雨が降り続き雷の鳴る悪天候でもよい数値が出ている。

ありがたい.

 Until now, when it rained, the internet speed has dropped drastically.

Even in bad weather with continuous light rain and thunder, the numbers are good.
