　きのう、歯の掃除のために歯医者に行きました。

私は歯医者が使うドリル・ハンドピースの音を聞くと訳もなく緊張します。

腹の上で組んでいた指が緊張で浮いてしまいます。

首の周りの筋肉がこり、疲れました。

　歯の掃除と窪んだ歯の充填、欠けた前歯の端を埋めてもらいました。

欠けた１、２ｍｍの前歯の破片はどこへ行ったのでしょうか。

食べ物と一緒に飲み込んでしまったようです。

 Yesterday, I went to the dentist for a teeth cleaning.
I get inexplicably nervous whenever I hear the dentist's drill handpiece.
My fingers, which I had clasped on my stomach, lifted from my hands due to the tension.
The muscles around my neck became stiff and tired.

 I had my teeth cleaned, a recessed tooth filled, and the chipped edge of my front tooth repaired.
Where did the 1-2 mm chipped tooth fragment go?
It seems I swallowed it with some food.

　雀たちはよく餌を食べてくれます。

エサ入れを小鉢から径の大きい皿に変えました。

そのせいで、彼らの食事中の小競り合いが減りました。

　窓の下のパパイヤの木がまた伸びてきました。

その木の枝にツタが絡まり、台所の窓をふさいでいます。

生えてきた木の枝を切りたくありませんでしたが、仕方なく切りました。

窓に明るさが戻りました。

枝を切らずに窓枠に入れて借景しておいたほうがよかったのでしょうか。

パパイヤの木は生命力が強いのでまた生えてきます。

次回は借景を試してみます。

 The papaya tree below the window has grown again.
Vines have wrapped around its branches, blocking the kitchen window.
I didn't want to cut the branches that had grown back, but I had no choice.
The window is now bright again.
Perhaps it would have been better to leave the branches and incorporate them into the window frame as part of the borrowed scenery?
Papaya trees are very resilient, so they will grow back.
Next time, I'll try using it as borrowed scenery.
