　雀たちは私が庭に面した机に座っていない時に砂浴びをしています。

彼らは砂浴びで砂を１mくらい撒き散らします。

私が箒でその砂を集めている時、彼らは姿を見せません。

どこかの物陰からそっと私を見ているのでしょう。

 The sparrows take dust baths when I'm not sitting at my desk facing the garden.

They scatter sand about a meter high when they bathe.

While I'm sweeping up the sand with my broom, they're nowhere to be seen.

They must be watching me quietly from somewhere in the shadows.

今年は７月に日本へ帰りません。

ボホールでのんびり過ごします。

　コロナのワクチンの副作用で酷い目にあっています。

感染症は怖いです。

　日本の麻疹が落ち着いたらおいしいものを食べに日本に帰ります。

もちろん日本食品も買います。

持ち物の整理をしていたら前に作ったメタルフレームの眼鏡が出てきました。

フィット感がいいのでそれを使っています。

They're comfortable to wear, so I'm using them.

　今まで使っていた眼鏡は読書用のレンズに変えようと思っています。

　昼過ぎから雨が降り始めました。

雷がなっています。

台風と離れているのでその影響はないと思います

　今回は旅行者・観光客の目線から離れて雨降りを見てみたいと思います。

ここで暮らしている退職者の目線です。

　雨降りは嫌いではありません。

１、雨が降ると静かになります。

　港で頭に血が上って歌を歌っている人の頭を冷やします。

　カラオケ船に屋根があっても、雨が吹き込むので静かになります。

　マフラーを外して走るうるさいバイクの数が減ります。

２、水道の給水回数が増えます。

　水が不足していませんが、水道の給水が増えるのは大歓迎です。

　シャワーや洗濯に水をたっぷり使えます。

３、決まった予定がないので雨が降っても困りません。

４、涼しい風が吹き、気温が下がります。

　午後一時の気温は２８℃です。

　ここにきて雨が降った時には地元民に恵みを与えていると思ってください。

人に施しをする立場に立てるので、豊かな気持ちを味わうことができます。

旅行・観光をして豊かな気持ちを持てる機会はめったにありません。

  It cools down the heads of people singing loudly in the harbor.

  Even if the karaoke boat has a roof, the rain blows in and makes it quiet.

  The number of noisy motorcycles with mufflers removed decreases.

2. The frequency of water refills increases.

  There is no water shortage, but increased water refills are very welcome.

  You can use plenty of water for showers and laundry.

3. I don't have any fixed plans, so rain doesn't bother me.

4. A cool breeze blows and the temperature drops.

  The temperature at 1 PM is 28°C.

 When you come here and it rains, think of it as you giving the blessing of rain to the local people.
You are in a position to give to others and experience a feeling of abundance.
People rarely have the opportunity to feel such abundance while traveling or sightseeing.

台所関係。 Kitchen-related.

　６０cm四方のテーブルを台所の流しの前に置きました。

台所の仕事がとても楽になりました。

 I placed a 60cm square table in front of the kitchen sink.

It has made kitchen work much easier.

　今までは流しの縁に料理や調味料を置いていました。

幸いにもそれを下に落とさずに済みました。

 Until now, I had been placing food and condiments on the edge of the sink.

Luckily, I managed to avoid dropping them on the floor.

　一番楽になったのはコーヒー豆を挽いて粉にする事です。

立ったままそれをすると、ミルを押さえる左手がハンドルを回すときに邪魔になりました。

 The biggest improvement was grinding the coffee beans into granules.
When I did it while standing, my left hand, which was holding the coffee mill, got in the way as I turned the handle.

　ごみ入れも使いやすいものに変えました。

I also changed the trash can to one that's easier to use.

　台所の床の古くなった水抜きの交換を誰に頼もうか思案中です。

 I'm trying to figure out who to ask to replace the old drain in my kitchen floor.

胸部エコーとトレッドミル検査に行ってきました。 I went for a chest ultrasound and a treadmill test.

 

　胸部エコーとトレッドミル検査に行ってきました。

　予定の３０分前に着くと検査室の扉にCLOSEDの表示がありました。

昼の休憩の表示を裏返すのを忘れていたようです。

　検査室は寒く、胸部エコーではくしゃみが出て往生しました。

トレッドミル検査は速さも勾配もハードでした。

　さてどんな結果が出るのでしょうか。

楽しみです・・・

 I arrived 30 minutes early, but the door to the examination room had a "CLOSED" sign.
It seems they forgot to flip over the lunch break sign.

 The examination room was cold, and I sneezed quite a bit during the chest ultrasound.
The treadmill test was tough, both in speed and gradient.

 Now, I wonder what the results will be.
I'm looking forward to it...
