　今日はレジの混雑がひどくて３０分くらい並びました。

稼働していないレジが1/3位ありました。

もう少し顧客のことを考えて商売をしないといけません。

セブのモールでレジに並んでいると空いているレジに案内してくれます。

田舎の商業感覚を捨てないと新しく建つシューマートに顧客を奪われますよ。

 The cash registers were really crowded today, and I had to wait in line for about 30 minutes.

About a third of the registers were not in operation.

You need to be more considerate of your customers when doing business.

When I'm waiting in line at a mall in Cebu, they guide me to an empty register.

If you don't shed your rural business mindset, you'll lose your customers to the new Shoe Mart.

麺と食パン。 Noodles and White bread.

　モールに乾麺がなくなりました。

生うどんと称するものを売っていましたが保存料が怖くて買えません。

　天ぷらをあげてHBでうどんを捏ねました。

冷たいうどんにてんぷらをのせて食べました。

鯵は油でおいしくなりますね。

　薄口醤油がなく乾燥シイタケで出汁をとったので色の濃いうどんつゆになりました。

うどんは素麺より食べごたえがあって腹にたまるりますね。

 The mall has run out of dried noodles.
They were selling something called fresh udon, but I'm afraid of the preservatives, so I can't buy it.

 I fried the tempura and kneaded the udon noodles in a bread machine.
I ate it with cold udon noodles topped with tempura.
The horse mackerel was good when deep-fried in oil.

 I didn't have any light soy sauce, so I made a stock with dried shiitake mushrooms, which turned the udon soup dark.
Udon is more filling and satisfying than somen noodles.

　モールから日本米が消えてしばらく経ちます。

通販で日本米を買うとモールで売っていた倍の値段です。

　パンはHBで食パンモードで焼いています。

同じ材料を使って焼いても毎回出来上がりが違います。

気温がイースト菌の発酵に関係しているのでしょうか。

 It's been a while since Japanese rice disappeared from the mall.
When I buy Japanese rice online, it's twice as expensive as it was at the mall.

 I bake bread in a bread machine using the white bread setting.
Even when I use the same ingredients, the result is different every time.
Does temperature have anything to do with yeast fermentation?

プラチナカードと普通のカード。 Platinum card and regular card.

　アマゾンで買った品物をフィリピンペソで決済しました。

カードを発行した銀行から”この支払に同意ならY、そうでなければN”の文章が私に送られてきました。

”Y”を何回も送信してもカード決済されません。

銀行へ行ってカードの支払い手続きをしてもらいましたがうまくゆきませんでした。

　行員さんが”新しいプラチナカードはトラブルが多い”と教えてくれたので前のカードに戻しました。

その銀行のオンラインアプリを新しいスマホにインストールしました。

アプリのIDの項目でつまずきました。

パスポート・運転免許証・リタイアメントビサでは承認されませんでした。

パスポートに貼付してあるこの国の政府が発行した証明書で承認を受けました。

　そのオンラインアプリはログイン時にパスワードとワンタイムパスワードが必要です。

面倒なのでログインしません。

 I paid for an item I bought on Amazon in Philippine pesos. 

The bank that issued my card sent me a message saying, "If you agree to the payment, press Y; if not, press N."
No matter how many times I sent "Y," the card payment wouldn't work.
 I went to the bank to have them process the payment on my card. 

My card couldn't make the payment. 

 The bank clerk told me there are many problems with the new Platinum Card, so I went back to my previous card.

 I installed the bank's online app on my new cell phone. 

I had trouble with the ID section in the app. 

It wasn't approved with my passport, driver's license, or retirement visa.

 It was approved with the certificate issued by the country's government, which is attached to my passport. 

The online app requires a password and a one-time password to log in.

 I can't be bothered to, so I won't log in.

酒を飲んでいた時の癖で割った氷を冷凍してから使っていました。

その氷に飲み物を注ぐと氷にひびが入りピキピキ音がします。

氷がとけにくいので飲み物がうすくなりません。

I had the habit of freezing broken ice before using it when I was drinking alcohol.

When I pour a drink onto the ice, it cracks and squeaks.

The ice doesn't melt easily, so the drink doesn't get diluted.

見晴らしの良いレストラン。 A restaurant with a great view.

　久しぶりにボホールのモールの４階にあるレストランに行きました。

マネージャーさんはお元気でした。

海側をガラスのカーテンウォールにしたので店内が明るくなりました。

パングラオ湾がよく見えました。

　メニューに普通と小がありました。

小の混ぜご飯のようなものとカラマリを頼みました。

混ぜご飯の甘じょっぱいチャーシュウはおいしかったです。

カラマリのイカは柔らかくはサクッと揚がっていました。

付け合せの野菜揚げがとてもおいしかったです。

　マネージャさんが店員の対応と食べ物の味を聞きに来ました。

もちろん丁寧に受け答えしました。

店のテーブルが大きく配置がゆったりとしていました。

次回は焼きそばのパンッシットカントンを頼もうと思っています。

 It's been a while since I last visited this restaurant on the ４th floor of a mall in Bohol.

The manager was in good health.

The interior is brighter thanks to the glass curtain wall facing the ocean.

I had a great view of Panglao Bay.

 There were regular and small sizes on the menu.

I ordered a small portion of something like mixed rice and calamari.

The sweet-and-salty roast pork with mixed rice was delicious.

The calamari squid was fried to a tender yet crispy consistency.

The fried vegetables that came with it were very tasty.

 The manager came to ask about the staff's service and the food's taste.

Of course, I responded politely.

The tables were large and spaciously arranged.

Next time, I'd like to order the fried pansit cantong.

I'll have to eat as hard as I can to reduce it.
