落ち葉拾い、芝刈り、植木の剪定、水遣りと大変です。

　私の朝はポメロを半分食べてから始まります。

ポメロはグレープフルーツに似た味です。

ポメロの果肉の上にマンゴーをのせてカラマンシーの果汁を絞ったフルーツサラダも簡単なのでよく作ります。

My morning starts with eating half a pomelo.

Pomelo tastes similar to grapefruit.

I also often make a simple fruit salad with pomelo pulp topped with mango and calamansi juice because it is easy.

雀の叡智

　鉢植えの葉に毛虫がつきました。

病害虫向けの薬剤オルトトリジンを鉢の土に撒き毛虫を退治しました。

水に溶けた薬剤を木が吸い上げて木の葉を食べた害虫は死ぬという仕組みです。

　あれほど砂浴びに来ていた雀が来なくなりました。

雀は薬剤で汚染された鉢植えの土を嫌っているんですね。

雀は鉢の縁や枝葉にはとまりますが鉢のなかの土には触れません。

アレルギー性のわたしは雀の叡智に感心しています。

 Caterpillars appeared on the leaves of a potted plant.

I sprinkled the pesticide Orthotolizine into the soil.

And the caterpillars were killed.

The sparrows, who used to come to take dust baths so often, stopped coming.

They hate contaminated potted soil.

苦節三年

　苦節３年、やっときれいなかき揚げ・精進揚げが揚げられるようになりました。

天ぷらはベチャッとしていません、野菜が甘いです。

いやー本当にここまで長い々道のりでした。
