　時々かつおだしや煮干しだし以外のだしが飲みたくなる。

パブリックマーケットへ行って貝とエビを買ってだしをとった。

エビだしも貝のだしも２,３日したらなくなる。

その時はかつおだしや煮干しだしをつかって　出汁はやっぱりこれだよねえ　等とほざくのである。

エビだしも貝のだしも昆布だしととても相性がいい。

　近所のネコさんはエビの焼けたにおいにつられてゴミを焼いている焚火のそばに座っていた。

この猫のためにもエビの焼け残りが少し出ますように・・・

 Sometimes I feel like drinking a broth made from something other than bonito or dried sardines.
I went to the public market and bought shellfish and shrimp for this purpose.
The shrimp and shellfish broths would both be gone after two or three days.
When that happens, I use bonito or dried sardine broth instead and boast that it's the best after all.
Shrimp and shellfish broths pair beautifully with kelp broth.

 A neighbourhood cat was attracted by the smell of grilled shrimp and sat by the bonfire where I was burning rubbish.
I hope there will be some shrimp left over for this cat's sake...

　４０日ぶりに食パンにバターをのせて食べた。

飽和脂肪酸の固まりと知っていてもおいしいものはおいしい。

　こちらに来てからデンマークの発酵バター”ルーパック”とニュージーランドの青草ばかりで育ったグラスドバター”アンカー”を食べている。

両方ともとてもおいしい。

　今日は過剰な薬の薬効から解放されたのでそれを祝って食べた。

次にお祝いするものがなくバターを食べる口実がないので困っている。

 After 40 days, I finally ate sliced bread with butter again.
It tasted twice as good.
Even though I know it's full of saturated fatty acids, it's still delicious.

 Since coming here, I've been eating 'Lupak', a Danish fermented butter, and 'Anchor', a glazed New Zealand butter made from grass-fed cows.
Both are delicious.

 Today, I ate them to celebrate being freed from the medicinal effects of excessive medication.
I'm in a bind because I don't have anything else to celebrate or an excuse to eat butter.

最近のカラオケ事情。The latest karaoke news.

　今年の雨季は雨が本当によく降ります。

例年はスコールが来て雨がザーッと降って晴れて終わりですが今年はそれに小雨が加わり長雨になっています。

北東の季節風アミハンも吹きません。

だらだらと南西の風が吹いています。

温度も低めで朝６時で２４,５℃です。

日中でも晴れない限り３０℃を超えることはありません。

　雨の多いせいでの煩い船上カラオケ船は営業を停止しています。

水浴びに来る人達のなかには自前の音響機器を持ってくる人も増えてきました。

カラオケ船と比べれば低い音量で歌を歌っています。

　面白いのは彼らは海辺に自分の家で使っている鍋釜・食器を持ち込んで物を食べていることです。

ご飯をおにぎりにする・おかず・汁物を別な小さな容器に詰めなおす発想はないようです。

帰りは持ってきた鍋釜・食器・音響機器をひとまとめにして運んでいます。

 It's been raining for a really long time this rainy season.
Usually, squalls come, followed by a heavy downpour, then sunshine, and then the rain ends, but this year it's been joined by light rain, making it a long rainy season.
The northeasterly monsoon, the Amihan, is not blowing either.
It is being lazy, the southwesterly wind is blowing.
The temperature is also low, at 24.5°C at 6am.
Even during the day, it never exceeds 30°C unless it's sunny.

 Due to the heavy rain, the noisy on-board karaoke boats have been closed.
Many people who come to the bathing bring their own sound equipment.
They sing at a lower volume than on the karaoke boats.
What's interesting is that they bring the pots and dishes they use at home to the beach and eat there.
They don't think of making rice into rice balls or repacking side dishes and soup into separate small containers.
On the way back, they carry all the pots and dishes, the sound equipment, and the other items they brought together.

したほうがよい、いや絶対にするべきだ。 You should definitely look into it and fix it. In fact, it would be better to do so.

 

　身体が重く気持ちが悪く下痢をした時期がありました。

薬害だな　とおもい処方された３種類の服用量を調べました。

　この写真のオレンジ色の錠剤APLXABANは血栓の形成を抑制する働きがあるようです。

1回2.5mg・1日2回投与なので適量です。

 There was a time when I felt heavy and nauseous and had diarrhoea.
Thinking this might be due to my medication, I looked up the dosage of the three types I had been prescribed.
The orange APLXABAN tablet, shown in the photo, seems to suppress the formation of blood clots.
It is administered at 2.5 mg twice daily, which is the correct dosage.

　Atorvastatinとは血液中の悪玉コレステロール（LDLコレステロール）・中性脂肪（トリグリセリド）値を下げるようです。

通常、成人にはアトルバスタチンとして10mgを1日1回経口投与する。
なお、年齢、症状により適宜増減するが、重症の場合は1日20mgまで増量できる。

　80mg1日1回処方されていたので10mg1日1回に減らしました。

 Atorvastatin appears to reduce levels of 'bad' cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides in the blood.
Adults are usually prescribed 10 mg of atorvastatin to be taken orally once daily.
Depending on age and symptoms, the dosage may be increased or decreased; in severe cases, it may be increased to 20 mg per day.
It was prescribed 80 mg once daily to me.
I reduced it to 10 mg per day.

 　citicolineは、細胞膜のリン脂質の合成中間体となる天然化合物のようです。

1日500～2,000 mgを1～2回に分けて服用が適正値のようです。

1日2000ｍｇを2回に分けて服用していたので・1日500 mgを2回に分けて服用に減らしました。

　薬を減らしてから２日後に下痢は止まり背中の強張り手指と下肢の攣る症状はなくなりました。

薬でやられた胃は良くなりません。

 Citicoline is a natural compound that serves as a synthetic intermediate for phospholipids in cell membranes.
The recommended dosage is 500–2,000 mg per day, divided into one or two doses.
Initially, I took 2,000 mg per day, divided into two doses, but I reduced this to 500 mg per day, also divided into two doses.
Two days after reducing the dosage, the diarrhea stopped, and the back stiffness and the cramps in my fingers and legs resolved.
However, my stomach, which was damaged by the medication, has not improved.

私は今新しい静かなものを使っています。 I'm now using the new, quiet ones.

　歯医者へ行くと壁掛け式の新しい扇風機が冷えた空気をかきまわしていた。

首振り音もファンの回転音もとても静かだった。

いますまいでは１８,１５年前に買ったものを使っているが雑音が多く首振りも滑らかではない。

床置き式を２個買った。

静かで滑らかに首をふる扇風機はストレスがない。

古いものは使う人に引き取ってもらって新しいものを使っている。

 When I went to the dentist's, I noticed a new wall-mounted fan circulating cool air.
The sound of the fan oscillating and rotating was barely audible.
I still use ones I bought 15 or 18 years ago, but they're noisy and don't oscillate smoothly.
I bought two floor-standing fans.
Having quiet fans that oscillate smoothly is stress-free.
I gave the old ones to someone who wanted them.
I'm now using the new, quiet ones.
