微笑ましい。It was a heartwarming sight.

　今日のキャッシャーさんは若い新人でした。
新人さんの目は真剣です。
ベテランが隣で彼女が清算した品物を袋に詰めながらアドバイスしていました。
新人さんはその都度アドバイスに声を出して返事をしていました。
彼女の真摯な態度を見て物事に真剣に取り組む大切さを教えられました。
がんばれ、新人・・

 Today's cashier was a young, new employee. 

The new employee had a serious look in her eyes. 

A veteran was standing next to her, giving her advice as she packed the checked items into bags. 

The new employee responded out loud to each piece of advice.

 Seeing her sincere attitude taught me the importance of taking things seriously. 

Good luck, new employee...

台風の影響はなくなったようです。 It seems that the effects of the typhoon have dissipated.

　台風の影響はなくなったようです、雲間から薄日がさしてきました。

曲はビーチボーズのブレイクアウエイです。

 The influence of the typhoon seems to have disappeared, and faint sunlight is breaking through the clouds. 

The song is "Breakaway" by the Beach Boys.

頼りになるけれど怖い。It's reliable, but scary.

　私はボホールの紫外線で日に焼けしていますが素肌は白いんです。

アレルギー体質なので汗疹や湿疹になりやすいんです。

私はそんなときには日本でもらったこの薬を使います。

本当によく効く軟膏です。

強に分類されているステロイド剤です。

頼りになりますがステロイドへの依存が怖いので１、２、回塗ったら使うのを止めています。

 I get sunburned from the UV rays in Bohol, but my bare skin is actually fair.

I have allergies, so I'm prone to miliaria and eczema.

When that happens, I use the medicine I received in Japan.

It's a really effective ointment.

It's a strong steroid.

It's reliable, but I'm afraid of becoming dependent on steroids, so I stop using it after applying it once or twice.

　ゆうべ七時半頃から降り始めた雨は上がりました。

気象衛星画像を見るとフィリピン島嶼の東側に雲が沢山写っています。

今日は一日中曇りのようです。

朝六時半の気温は２６℃です。

 The rain that started around 7:30 last night has stopped.

 Examining weather satellite images reveals numerous clouds east of the Philippine islands.

 It appears that the weather will be cloudy all day today. 

At 6:30 a.m., the temperature is 26 degrees Celsius. 

It's a bit chilly, so I'm wearing a wool vest.

 I was going to a diving point named Dooule at Panglao Island on August 9th, 2025.

It was sunny.

The seawater had good transparency, and its temperature was 29 degrees Celsius.

困った木工家さん。 The master carpenter appears to be sulking.

　木工家の主人が臍を曲げました。

下の写真の机を作ってもらった時は機嫌が良かったんです。

上の写真の小机が出来あがった時に図面と違っていいたので図面を見せて手直しをしてもらいました。

その事が彼の気にいらなかったようです。

小机の支払時にばか高い料金を請求されました。

小机は下の写真の大きな机に比べると長さも高さも1/3です。

　椅子のクッションの修理を頼みましたが椅子を取りに来てくれません。

全く困ったものです。

今新しい木工家を探しています。

 He was in a good mood when he made the desk pictured below. 

However, when he had finished making the small desk in the photo above, it differed from the drawings. 

I showed him the drawings and asked him to make adjustments. 

This seemed to bother him. 

When it came to paying for the small desk, he charged me a high fee. 

The small desk is one-third the length and height of the large desk in the photo below. 

 I asked him to repair the chair cushions, but he hasn't collected the chairs yet.

 It's really troublesome. 

I am currently looking for a new woodworker.
