I repotted my Areca palm. アレカヤシの植え替えをしました。

　ベランダの鉢植えを門の右側へ５鉢運びました。

ベランダがすっきりしました。

新しいアレカヤシの植木を１鉢追加しました。

　前からあるアレカヤシの植え替えをしました。

雀は黍をたべて殻をのこします。

水はけがよくなるように鉢植えの土にその黍殻を混ぜ込みました。

アレカヤシは小さくても椰子の木の形をしています。

部屋に置くと南国ムードが漂います。

 I moved five potted plants from the balcony to the right side of the gate.

The balcony now looks much tidier.

I also added one new Areca palm plant.

 I repotted an Areca palm that I’ve had for a while.

Sparrows eat millet and leave the husks behind.

I mixed these millet husks into the potting soil to improve drainage.

Even when small, an Areca palm already has the distinct shape of a palm tree.

Placing one in a room brings a tropical atmosphere to the space.
