There was a power outage.
I passed the time by drinking Japanese tea and nibbling on rice crackers.
Inside the tent, it was a bit brighter when I lit a candle than it is here.
(I used a collapsible lantern with mica panes.)
The candlelight must have reflected off the tent’s inner lining.
When I woke up in the morning, the frost on the lining would glisten—it was so beautiful.
The tent was frozen stiff.
(Around 1965, I used a Vinylon tent.)

The lights came on, and the sounds of daily life returned.
Everything became bright and clearly visible once more, pulling me back into the real world.
The memories vanished.
