土鍋炊飯。 Cooking rice in a clay pot.

　圧力鍋でご飯を炊くのを止めて久しい。

土鍋で炊くご飯は甘みがあるような気がする。

両方を同時に食べ比べたことない。

　今回はご飯を少し焦がしてしまった。

それが悔しい。

早く土鍋マスターと自認できるようになりたい。

朝飯はご飯のレンチンができないので麺かパンですね。

停電は１０時間です、映画でも見に行きますか。

　皺のないシーツと枕カバーで眠れることをありがたいと思っています。

ベッドに横になると快適で　ああー　と声がでます。

　毎日新しいシーツと枕カバーとパジャマを用意してくれた母に　ありがとう　と言ったことがありませんでした。

己の傲慢さと配慮のなさを恥じています。

When I lie down in bed, I can't help but sigh in comfort.

 I have never said thank you to my mother for providing me with new sheets, pillowcases, and pajamas every day.

I am ashamed of my own arrogance and lack of consideration.

朝起きてから。 After I wake up in the morning.

　朝の果物が必須の身体になりました。

朝は西瓜かマンゴーを食べます。

ドラゴンフルーツやマンゴゴスチンは季節の物なのでいつも食べられるわけではありません。

　果物を食べると頭の中の血管に果汁がまわっていくような気がします。

頭がはっきりとしてきます。

さあ　きょうも一生懸命生きよう　今を切に生きよう　と言う気持ちが湧いてきます。

　その後でコーヒーを淹れて飲みながらPCに触ります。

PCでニュースを最近見る気がしません。

酷い・嫌なニュースばかりです。

それにもまして大本営発表のニュースが多いので気が滅入ります。

　その頃になると鳥の鳴き声が聞こえて雀が芝生で餌の地虫を漁り始まます。

♬雀がね　雀がね　お庭で　ぴょんぴょん　かくれんぼ　♬

という歌詞のとおり雀は両足を揃えて跳んで移動します。

それを見ているとニュースを見た厭な気持はどこかにとんでゆきます。

雀に毎朝　ありがとうね　とお礼を言っています。

 Fruit in the morning has become essential for my body.

I eat watermelon or mango in the morning.

Dragon fruit and mangosteen are seasonal, so I can't always eat them.

 When I eat fruit, I feel as if the juice is flowing through the blood vessels in my brain.

My mind becomes clearer.

I feel like I should live today to the fullest and live in the present.

 After that, I make some coffee and sit at my computer while drinking it.

I haven't felt like watching the news on my computer lately.

It's all terrible and unpleasant news.

What's worse, there are so many announcements from the Imperial Headquarters that it's depressing.

 Around that time, I can hear the birds singing, and the sparrows start searching the lawn for grubs to eat.

Just as the lyrics say, the sparrows move around by hopping with both feet together.

When I watch it, the unpleasant feeling I get from watching the news disappears somewhere.

I say thank you to the sparrows every morning.

ヘルパーさん。The helper.

　へルパーさんが7/19土曜から週１回３時間で室内の掃除をしてくれることになりました。

彼女の使うスペアキーを作ります。

　あまり汚いものは見せられないのでガスレンジ・流し台の掃除をしました。

これから掃除用の必要な洗剤を買いに行きます。

 

 Starting Saturday, July 19th, she will be cleaning the room once a week for three hours.

I will make a spare key for her to use.

I don't want her to see things that are too dirty, so I cleaned the gas range and sink.

Now I'm going to go buy the necessary cleaning detergents.
