　その葉の茎にある葉包から切れ込みのある葉がでたので安心しました。

切れ込みと穴のないモンステラの葉は魅力半減です。

I was relieved when a leaf with notches emerged from the leaf follicle on the stem of that leaf.

Monstera leaves without notches or holes are half as attractive.

　植木鉢の用土と相性が良かったようで新芽が２本も出ました。

It seems to have been a good match with the soil in the flowerpot, as two new shoots have appeared.
