　迷走台風に備えて食料の買い出しにゆこうと思ったら台風の余波の雨が降ってきました。

気温は９時を過ぎても２４℃です。

 I was thinking of going out to buy some food in preparation for the stray typhoon when the typhoon's aftermath began to rain.
The temperature hadn't risen by 9 am; it was still 24 °C.
