　モールに買い物に行きました。

そこのイベントホールでボディペインティングのコンテストを行っていました。

　ボホール島の先祖は、全身に入れ墨をした人々を指す「ピンタド（Pintados）」と呼ばれるマレー系移民の子孫です。

ピンタドの由来: 16世紀にスペイン人が訪れた際、ビサヤ諸島（ボホール島を含む）の先住民が体に美しい入れ墨をしていたため「ロス・ピンタドス（塗られた人々）」と呼んだことに由来します。
戦士の証: 当時は、戦いでの功績や勇気、個人の地位を表すために全身に入れ墨を施す伝統がありました。

現代の状況: ボホール島において、かつてのピンタドのような伝統的な入れ墨の風習は現在残っていません。

 The ancestors of the people of Bohol are descendants of Malay immigrants known as "Pintados," a term referring to people with tattoos covering their entire bodies.

 Origin of Pintados: 

In the 16th century, when the Spanish visited, they called the indigenous people of the Visayas (including Bohol) "Los Pintados" (the painted people) because they had beautiful tattoos on their bodies.

 Symbol of Warriorhood:

 At that time, there was a tradition of tattooing the entire body to represent achievements in battle, courage, and personal status.

Modern Situation: 

In Bohol, the traditional custom of tattooing like the former pintado no longer exists.
