めんどくさいなあ。It's such a hassle.

　先日ドコモのSIMカードを取り出した時にこじ開けたSIMカードの出し入れ口を修理に出しました。

スマホを指さして　ここを修理してください　と頼むと相手はピンを使って開け閉めして　壊れていないわよ　と言いました。

あんた、ピン持っていないの　と言われて頭の中で　ピンはあるけど開かないんだ　と作文していると　いいわ、このピンあげるわ　こう使うのよ　わかった　と言われたので頷きました。

　家に帰って机の上で　スマホにSIMを入れて　機内モードにして　WIFIとブルートゥースをOFFにして　SIMカードを無効にして　スマホのスイッチを切りました。

　SIMとスマホの機能がすべてOFFになっているので通話料金・通信料は発生しようがありません。

再度高額請求がドコモからあった時には解約しか道は残されていません。

日本の友人・知人はメールで連絡をしてくるので　日本の電話番号は不要かな　と思っています。

 The other day, I took my Docomo SIM card slot, which I had pried open to remove it, to be repaired.
I pointed at my smartphone and asked them to repair it, but the person used a pin to open and close it and said it wasn't broken.
She asked me if I didn't have a pin, and I was composing in my head that I had a pin, but it wouldn't open, when she said, "Okay, I'll give you this pin. 

Here's how you use it. 

Okay," so I nodded.

 When I got home, I set the SIM card in my smartphone on my desk, switched it to Airplane Mode, turned off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, disabled the SIM card, and turned off the smartphone. Since the SIM and all smartphone functions are turned off, no call or data charges will be incurred.
If Docomo charges me another hefty fee, my only option will be to cancel my contract.
My friends and acquaintances in Japan contact me by email, so I don't need a Japanese phone number.
